Work has begun!

Mark it down: Friday, Aug. 31, 2007. Bowes Construction of Brookings began excavation work on the building site this morning, scraping black dirt from the lot and doing some leveling to the lot. This photo is taken from the southeast corner of the lot. Recent rains have softened the ground, making it easier for Bowes to do their thing. Cool!

SDNA Land Ready to Go

The lot on which the SDNA Building will be built is staked and ready for dirt work in this Aug. 30 photo. Excavation work begins on the lot tomorrow with the black dirt scraped and elevation work done on the site. This photo is taken from the southwest corner of the lot. The stake in the foreground is the southwest corner of the lot.
